Faith Formation: Classes for Faith Formation begin this weekend after the 9:00 AM mass Sunday (8/21/2022). Completed registration forms must be brought to the class for all youth. Adults are welcome to join the Venture Bible program.
The Gillespie Literacy Council invites any adult desiring to study basic English, citizenship, or GED to register for the free classes on September 6, 2022 at 9 a.m. or 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall, 302 East College. The tutoring is one-to-one, and tutors and the students are free to arrange meeting times, dates, and locations. The tutoring usually lasts 1 ½ hours once a week. The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Monday, August 15th, is not a holy day of obligation this year. Additional mass times have not been set. St. Mary’s has a 7:30 AM mass on Mondays.

Sunday, August 21st, the St. Rose Society will gather at 9:00am Mass to celebrate the Feast Day of St. Rose of Lima, patron saint of the society, and the anniversary of their 73rd year of service to St. Francis Xavier Parish and community. The Mass intention will be for living and deceased members of the St. Rose Society. A cake and coffee reception will follow in St. Thomas Hall, please join us.
