We are at 89% of our goal for 2021. We have reached a preliminary goal of 20% participation, which will yield a rebate of $500.00. However, if we reach 25% participation, we will receive a rebate to the parish of an additional $1,000.00. We are very close to this goal and want to thank everyone who has already supported the Archbishop’s Appeal this year!!! If you have not already made a donation, you may scan the QR code at the right, pick up an envelope in the foyer of the church, or come to the office.
will be held following the 10:00am Mass. The 9:00am and 11:00am Masses have been cancelled on Sunday the 5th only. Ham and dinner rolls will be provided, the rest of the dinner will be potluck. Please bring a side dish to share (casserole, potatoes, rice, beans, veggies, salad, etc.) or a dessert. It will not be necessary to RSVP for the meal.
Advent is a gift to us. The four weeks of Advent help us to prepare to truly celebrate Christmas and contemplate the great reality of God becoming man for our sake because of His great love for each of us. Join this Advent parish mission to reflect more on the truths of Jesus and our Catholic faith led by Karlo Broussard.
On Thanksgiving Day, we will have mass at 10:00 AM and will have a blessings table near the altar for parishioners to place their bread and wine or beer for a blessing. Be sure to bring those items for your Thanksgiving dinner to be blessed.
If you have considered participating in the chalice prayer program, do not hesitate. If you have taken the chalice and participated in this prayer, feel free to sign up again. St. Francis Xavier and all of our Catholic churches around the world need faithful people to discern their calling. Let us help them through the power of prayer. Please call or email the office.
to all of you who donated towards our Bounty of Baked Goods. Thanks to those who baked so many delicious sweet treats, to the workers and to those who supported us with your kind and generous donations. Your donations help us to offer Leadership Awards to our graduating High School Seniors; to host cake and punch receptions for our First Communion Class, Confirmation Class, SFX Graduates, and our Clergy. We prepare meals for family and friends, following the funeral of a parishioner’s loved one. We also support various charities in our community and much more. God Bless You and Thank You!

We are blessed to have the gatherings with the graciousness of all involved. The next "First Wednesday of the Month Lunch" will be February 2nd. We look forward to seeing as many again then.
