Dear Parishioners, Thank you for the welcome you have given to me and all that you have done to help me as I begin here at Saint Francis. If there is any way that I can be of assistance to you, please let me know. I have been able to start visiting the nursing care homes in our area and hospitals. If there are persons that I can be within our homes, nursing homes of hospitals please let me know at the Parish Office or email me at [email protected]. A prayer that I often pray in the Memorare. Years ago, I heard of a man on pilgrimage to Lourdes who received a healing who in praying the Memorare prayed it twice: once in petition, second in thanksgiving. This past year I heard how Saint Mother Teresa often prayed her Memorare Novena: nine Memorares in petition, and a tenth Memorare in thanksgiving.
The Memorare: Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in you mercy hear and answer me. Amen
