Save the Date: St. Mary’s Turkey Dinner, Sunday, October 27, Holy Family Center, Fredericksburg. Meal starts at 11:00. Dine-in and drive-thru available.

Bilingual Rosary before 11:00 AM Sunday Mass - The Rosary will be recited before the 11:00 Mass. Please let the church office know if you are willing to lead the Rosary or if you would like to lead one of the decades.

New Pastoral Council Board Members - Thank you to all the nominees and to those of you that participated in the election process. Jessica Weinheimer and DeAnn Hampton have been elected to serve 3-year terms on the Board. Thank you to outgoing members, Kris Ulrich, Elizabeth Ferguson, and Guadalupe Tabullo.

Thursday, October 17, Fishes & Loaves at Trinity Lutheran Church for those age 55 and older. 4270 RR 1. Games & Social at 9:30 AM; Lunch at 11:45 AM (Meatloaf with potatoes and gravy, green peas, and rolls). Anyone over the age of 55 is invited to attend. (ID’s are not checked.) Lunch is free, they do have a donation basket and the monies are used for expenses.

Pancake Breakfast - Sunday, October 20th - St. Thomas Society is hosting a Pancake Breakfast from 10:00 - 11:00. Pancakes, locally made sausage, orange juice, and coffee will be provided. Meal is by donation. All are welcome!!!

Trunk or Treat - Wednesday, October 30th 6:00PM - 7:00PM @ Stonewall Elementary - Stonewall Elementary School invites you to join their annual Trunk or Treat event, a safe and unique way to trick or treat by going “trunk to trunk” in a family and community friendly atmosphere. Costume contests will be held. Food and drinks will be provided. St. Francis will have a “trunk” sponsored by St. Thomas Society & St. Rose Society.

Archdiocesan capital campaign update - Thank You - we are On the Way with $34,460 (20% of our $170,000 Parish goal) in beautiful contributions and pledges from our generous parishioner donors! Plans are being made to proceed with the renovation of the garage for classroom/meeting space. "Society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.
