Rosary prayed on Thursdays immediately after 6:00 PM Mass outside at the grotto to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Rosario para las intenciones de los ninos, jovenes y familias, jueves despues de misa de las 6:00. If inclement weather, the Rosary will be prayed inside the church.

Bilingual Rosary before 11:00 AM Sunday Mass - The Rosary will be recited before the 11:00 Mass. Please let the church office know if you are willing to lead the Rosary or if you would like to lead one of the decades.

2nd Sunday of each month - 12:00 pm - “Fellowship Encuentro” Everyone is invited to the hall after the 11:00 am Masses on the 2nd Sunday of each month for fellowship and light refreshments.

“Kaffee Klatsch” - Sundays After 9:00 Mass - Everyone is invited to the hall after the Sunday 9:00 AM Masses for fellowship and light refreshments.

Change in Office Staff - we welcome Trudy Steele. Judy Petsch will be retiring the end of July and Trudy will be in training to become the new Parish Secretary/Bookkeeper. Please feel free to stop by the office to visit with Trudy. A meet and greet will be held in the near future.

Saturday, July 20 - Kolbe Prison Ministries Statewide Conference at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, San Antonio. 8AM to 4:30 PM followed by Mass. Speakers include Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller MSpS, Bishop Michael Boulette, Fr. Mitch Pacwa, Fr. Clay Hunt & several former inmates. All adults who are interested in prison ministry are cordially invited to attend the free annual conference. Register:

Howdy! Will you or someone you know be a freshman at Texas A&M University or Blinn College this fall? If so, St. Mary’s Catholic Life Center invites you to attend the Connect Retreat! Connect is a retreat held just for incoming freshmen before school starts in August. It is a great way to meet other Catholic freshmen and to learn about growing in your faith while in college. Fr. Jean Baptiste will be out on vacation beginning July 1st through the latter part of the month. Fr. John will be serving at the weekday masses.

Altar Server’s Summer Trip - Altar servers, our youth lectors and ushers, and chaperones are invited to attend the San Antonio Missions minor league baseball game on August 2nd. The game, travel by bus, hot dogs, drinks, and other refreshments will be included at no cost. Contact Heidi Kovar at   or 830-998-5021 ASAP, but no later than July 19th.

“On the Way, Andale!” Capital Campaign - Saints are role models and have so much to teach us about life. When it comes to stewardship, there is no exception. The saints are examples of stewardship that we must imitate for the sake of those who are not as fortunate. If you have not yet participated in the On the Way, Andale campaign, remember our examples of stewardship for what the Lord has provided. Thanks to those who have already contributed!! Altar Server Training will be held in September for those wanting to server as well as those who are currently serving. Dates and details will be announced soon.

Thursday, July 18, Fishes & Loaves at Trinity Lutheran Church for those age 55 and older. 4270 RR 1. Games & Social at 9:30 AM; Lunch at 11:45 AM (BBQ by Myron Uecker; also potato salad, beans, and watermelon). Anyone over the age of 55 is invited to attend. (ID’s are not checked.) Lunch is free, they do have a donation basket and the monies are used for expenses. Please make reservations by 10:00AM Wednesday by contacting the Trinity Lutheran Church office at 830-644-2479.
