RCIA - Are you interested in becoming Catholic or want to learn more about what Catholics believe?  Are you CAtholic but have not received all of your Sacraments such as 1st Holy Communion or Confirmation?  If you answered yes to either of these questions, then RCIA is the program for you.  RCIA (The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the program for full initiation into the Catholic Church.  Meetings will be every Wednesday night from 6 to 7:30 pm beginning September 18 at the Holy Family Center.  Registration is FREE!  For more information or to register, please contact the St. Mary's Director of Religious Education, Ethan Weltens at eweltons@stmarysmail.com or 830-997-9523.

October 2, First Wednesday of the Month Lunch after Noon Mass - A German meal will be served to celebrate Octoberfest.  Jeanie Pehl has recipes for the meal and is taking volunteers to prepare the food.  The menu will consist of Bavarian Pot Roast, sausage, German potato salad, sauerkraut, red cabbage, German green beans, sweet rice and homemade bread.  If you would like to help, please contact Jeanie by text at 830-889-6331 or landline at 830-644-2341.

Thursday, September 19, Fishes & Loaves at Trinity Lutheran Church for those age 55 and older.  4270 RR 1.  Games & Social at 9:30 AM; Lunch at 11:45 AM (BBQ on a bun, chips and a surprise cake).  Anyone over the age of 55 is invited to attend.  (ID's are not checked.)  Lunch is free, they do have a donation basket and the monies are used for expenses.

Bilingual Rosary before 11:00 AM Sunday Mass - The Rosary will be recited before the 11:00 Mass. Please let the church office know if you are willing to lead the Rosary or if you would like to lead one of the decades.

Youth Ministry - Life Teen (High School) & Edge (Middle School) provide systematic catechesis in a non-classroom environment to lead teens into a personal relationship with Christ.  St. Mary's offers both Life Teen and Edge for the youth of St. Mary's, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and St. Francis Xavier.  Edge is held each Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the St. Mary's Holy Family Center, and Life Teen is held every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the St. Mary's Holy Family Center.  For more information, please contact Clare Weltens at 830-997-9523 or cweltens@stmarysmail.com
