Rosary prayed on Thursdays immediately after 6:00 PM Mass outside at the grotto to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Rosario para las intenciones de los ninos, jovenes y familias, jueves despues de misa de las 6:00. If inclement weather, the Rosary will be prayed inside the church.

Bilingual Rosary before 11:00 AM Sunday Mass - The Rosary will be recited before the 11:00 Mass. Please let the church office know if you are willing to lead the Rosary or if you would like to lead one of the decades.

2nd Sunday of each month - 12:00 pm - “Fellowship Encuentro” Everyone is invited to the hall after the 11:00 am Masses on the 2nd Sunday of each month for fellowship and light refreshments.

“Kaffee Klatsch” - Sundays After 9:00 Mass - Everyone is invited to the hall after the Sunday 9:00 AM Masses for fellowship and light refreshments.

“On the Way, Andale!” Capital Campaign kickoff was a great start for the campaign. Thank you to those that participated last Sunday. More news to come. Let’s watch our thermostat grow!!

2019 Parish Calendars are available in the entrance of church. Please feel free to take one per family and if there leftovers next weekend, you may take another.

Tuesday, December 18 at 6:45 PM, after Mass/Rosary - “Active Shooter preparation” - Information from the October 30th “Active Shooter” training at St. Mary’s will be given. The Parish Council would like to share this information and help us to be informed and prepared should the occasion ever arise here at St. Francis Xavier. Everyone is welcome; Ushers are encouraged to attend.

Christmas Flower Offering envelopes are due now. Please list those that you wish to “honor” or “in memory of” on the envelope and turn it into the church office by Wednesday, December 19. The names will be included in next weekend’s bulletin.

This Sunday, December 16 - 49TH Annual LBJ Tree Lighting at the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park & Historic Site - Hwy 290 E. Pre-program activities from 4-5:30PM and the Tree Lighting main program will begin at 5:30PM. (This is 30 minutes earlier than in the past) Fr. Jean Baptiste will participate in the reading of the Christmas Story and our Youth will present the Live Nativity. The Park is open before and after the program for tours, book signings, refreshments and, of course, Santa Claus. Everyone is invited to enjoy the activities and support the community.

Wednesday, December 19 at 5:00 PM - Church Christmas Decorating. Young and old are asked to come help for about an hour to make our church special for the coming of Jesus!!

Many thanks to everyone who helped and shared delicious treats that made the Celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe such a fun family event. The liturgical dancers led by Guillermina Balderas were a beautiful tribute to Our Lady.

The 2019 boxed Contribution Envelopes are in the entrance of church. If you have not gotten them in the past and would like to, please contact Judy in the church office.

“Thank You” to Duecker Construction Co, Inc for the $250.00 Rosary Run/Walk 5K T-Shirt sponsorship. They, along with a few others, will sponsor the t-shirts for the May 4, 2019 event.
